| In the mid eighties, when hard-core was becoming "metalized" and "grunge" was still being defined, a scene sprung up in San Francisco that put the punk back into punk rock. Such bands as Green Day, the Mr. T Experience, Operation Ivy, and Sweet Baby were playing rock'n'roll in its truest form, innocent. And though some of these bands have gone on to stardom, there was one band who called it quits before they got their due, a band called Crimpshrine. Hopefully this site will give them the due and appreciation they deserve and also introduce them to a new audience. Enjoy. |
