The first pressing of this on vinyl apparently had mastering problems and was released in Mono. The second pressing on CD bears a big sticker over the face of then departed guitarist Danny Bland that reads" Limited 2nd Edition in Stereo". The back cover features bounced checks from Sub Pop bearing the signatures of label founders Jonathan Poneman and Bruce Pavitt. The begining of "Vicodine" has a strange vocal noise that appears to be another mastering problem. Or was it intentional?

How's this for name dropping ? Jon Auer is best known as a member of the Posies. The Donita in the title of the first song is of course Donita Sparks of L7 fame. "Hungover Together", features a duet with Carrie Akre of Hammerbox. The song has been covered by the Supersuckers on their latest CD "Must've been High"(sp380). It's probably no coincidence that the song was written by the ...suckers' manager, a mister Danny Bland. Anyone have a guess who the Jennifer G mentioned in "Vicodine" is ???????
